Uttan, May 17, 2025 — A major accident was narrowly averted today at Uttan Chowka when a bus reportedly suffered brake failure and crashed into a wall near the chowka dhalan road.

According to eyewitnesses, the bus was approaching a turn near the chowk when the driver suddenly lost control due to brake malfunction. Despite attempts to steer the vehicle away, the bus collided with a wall, causing panic among passersby and residents.

Fortunately, no fatalities were reported. However, a few passengers received minor injuries and were treated at a nearby clinic. The prompt response of local residents and passersby helped in evacuating the bus quickly and ensuring medical aid.

Locals have raised concerns over the lack of regular vehicle inspections and are urging transport officials to take strict action to avoid such incidents in the future.
