Uttan first shelter for underprivileged students, built by the Human Life Action Foundation (HLA), was destroyed during the season’s first rainfall. The shelter, made with limited resources, provided a safe space for orphaned and poor students. HLA, which offers free education every Sunday, has pledged to rebuild. Community support is now needed to help restore the shelter and continue their mission.

“We poured our hearts into building this shelter with the little we had. It was meant to be a place of comfort for the children,” said a volunteer from HLA. “The rain may have washed away the structure, but not our spirit.”

Local residents and well-wishers are being encouraged to come forward with donations, building materials, or manpower to help restore the shelter and ensure that these children don’t lose the only place they had to call their own.
