approved the Uttan-Virar portion of the 43km Versova-Virar sea link, which has been proposed as an alternative to Western Express Highway. According to the proposal submitted by MMRDA, which is executing the Rs 21,000-crore project, in the first phase, the Uttan-Virar connecting road will be built along with the sea bridge, and in the second, the Virar-Palghar
